Santa Ana Dental Services & Oral Health Tips

Brush 2x Per Day
Make sure your child brushes their teeth at least twice a day with a soft-bristled toothbrush.

Use Quality Toothpaste
Fluoride toothpaste is essential for removing food particles and plaque from the tooth surfaces.

Floss Teeth Daily
The easiest to skip, but certainly important. Be sure to floss your teeth once a day.

Soft-Bristled Toothbrush
Always use a soft-bristle toothbrush. Hard-bristle tooth brushes are too harsh and may damage teeth.

Brush Thoroughly
Be sure your child brushes the top surface of the tongue which will remove extra plaque and help keep breath fresh!

Don't Brush Too Aggressively
Brush lightly. Brushing teeth too aggressively can damage enamel and increase the risk of cavities.

Schedule Every 6 Months
Cleanings should be scheduled twice a year, or every six months for the best preventitive care.

Oral Mouthwash Every Day
Rinse with mouthwash daily to kill bacteria, freshen breath, and prevent gingivitis & gum disease.
